Welcome to the CuteGirls API

The CuteGirls API allows you to leverage 69,564 images and entries in your application via cutegirls.moe. You can all of the information about images (JSON), or simply put a link to the API in an img tag for easy use. The results can be more specific by using parameters to narrow down the entries that are provided.

Endpoints

The CuteGirls API only has two endpoints, /json and /image:

1. /json

This endpoint allows applications to get the full metadata of an entry. Here is an example response.

2. /image:

This endpoint simply redirects the client to an image. It can be used in image tags or CSS background-image Try it!


Parameters

With requests to either endpoint, a number of parameters can be provided to get more specific images. Parameters can be used by adding them to the URL.

id: Will return the entry with the specified ID.

num: The number of entries to return (/json only)

source: Will narrow entries down to a specific source (ie. Love Live!)

subs: A comma seperated list of subreddits to only include (ie. Moescape,LoveArrowShoot)

disallowedsubs: A comma seperated list of subreddits to not include (ie. awwnime,thecutestidol)

maxfilesize: The maximum filesize (a decimal in megabytes) that will be allowed.

height and width: Will return images with the EXACT height and/or width, respectively.

maxheight and maxwidth: Will return images with the no larger then the height and/or width provided, respectively.

minheight and minwidth: Will return images with the no smaller then the height and/or width provided, respectively.

Note: height and width will override other parameters, but the max/min parameters can be used together.
